Common questions

Sugar says “Ask a grown-up to set up Sugar.”

Sugar needs an OpenRouter key and a model. Tap the menu, choose parent settings, enter your passcode, and add both.

Sugar can’t answer or shows an error.

Check the internet connection and that your OpenRouter account has credit. Some models are sometimes unavailable; picking a different model in parent settings usually fixes it.

The Talk button doesn’t work.

Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition for Sugar in the iOS Settings app. Typing works without them.

I forgot the parent passcode.

Delete Sugar and install it again, then set it up with a new passcode. This deletes your child’s saved chats.

How do I delete my child’s chats?

Open parent settings and choose “Delete all conversations.” Deleting the app also deletes them.
